Being cozied up with a book that takes you to a different place & time is one of the BEST feelings.
I honestly read most when I’m in some soft pj’s and under a fuzzy blanket on my favorite place on our couch.
As I looked over my bookshelf to share a few of these top picks with you, I have to admit it wasn’t easy to narrow it down!
I decided to select some that have helped me along in pivotal parts of my my journey as a girlfriend, sister, daughter, entrepreneur, artist, etc.
This is my current favorite.
The author lifts you into a mindset of worthiness as you discover your place in this world.
Find out how to empower yourself to belong by being your authentic self.
“Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are.”
“Owning our story & loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do.”
This changed my outlook about running a successful business A LOT over the last two years.
It opened my eyes to the things I was giving too much power to, and brought me back to reality by reminding me what’s truly important.
“Don’t miss the point. Spend your day pursuing the things you want said in your eulogy.”
“Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do.” – Johann von Goethe
So failure is painful, yes, we know this.
However, having a book to help you work through that time is very important.
Rising Strong was a healthy read – helped me realize we have to acknowledge the pain/shame/desperation of failure so we can come out of it stronger.

“The irony is that we attempt to disown our difficult stories to appear more whole or more acceptable, but our wholeness – even our wholeheartedness – actually depends on the integration of all of our experiences.” – Brene Brown

Extraordinary – Bevere
