I hosted two holiday parties last weekend,
and they went off without a hitch so why not share the details with all of my amazing readers!?
I’m going to give you my food recipes, dessert tips, favor ideas,
game list & the ingredients to my new FAV cocktail!
It can be a bit overwhelming prepping everything for a group of 12+,
but I’ll break it down for you…
I even have FREE downloadable recipes
for you at the end of this post! 🙂
I went with cute mini bottles of Coke, paired with a scratch-off ticket.
And yes, I chose the one with the animals on it on purpose.
Use any leftover tickets as game prizes if you have people who don’t end up making it to the party.
APPETIZERS & MAIN DISH
I made a fruit platter,
cheese board with pita chips,
buffalo chicken dip,
spinach & artichoke dip,
and creamy chicken with sun-dried tomatoes & basil pasta.
RECIPES AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST.
BEVERAGES & COCKTAILS
I served bottled water,
sweet tea (in a big drink dispenser),
La Marca Prosecco,
J.Lohr Cabernet Sauvignon,
Crown Royal – Salted Caramel
Crown Royal – Apple
I think it’s best to keep it simple!
One signature cocktail & several other options
Crown Salted Caramel Apple Cider Cocktail
(This photo was obviously taken AFTER the party.)
For my first party, I served homemade chocolate covered strawberries,
apple pie and frosted sugar cookies…
I made 4 batches of sugar cookies with homemade frosting
and they were GONE by the end of the night.
It’s my ‘secret’ recipe so you’ll need to
personally request it by subscribing to my blog!
I’m head over heels for my new marble serving trays.
Everything looks even better when it’s displayed pretty!
Here’s some just like mine!

I was super hesitant at first, but now I can appreciate the hype.
Go get it!
This is such a hilarious group game –
I love the way it teaches you a lot about one another.
Definitely one of my top picks!
Less than $14 too!
Last but not least, DON’T FORGET GET A GROUP PHOTO!
My fiancé made us wait until A Christmas Story was at this exact part before snapping it.

MY TIPS & SECRETS
1. Just use paper/plastic! It’s a lifesaver…
Unless you’re doing a cocktail attire level of party.
2. Have everything set out and ready about 30 minutes before the party starts
so you can SIT DOWN and breathe for a little bit!
3. Put the fur babies away for the food segment of the evening.
4. Remember the whole point of the party is to have quality time with your guests.
